if he does stay on as manager, then he will be under no illusions that fans will not accept even so much as the first month of the season being the same as this season has been.The team, complete with some competent signings, would have to grow a backbone away from home from day one of the first whistle, and look like competing at the top end of the table, otherwise the clamour for his removal will reach Scotty proportions. Any signs of a relegation struggle and I wouldn't rule out 2,500 crowds at home. He hasn't got a lot of time next term (two-three months tops IMO), if he is given the opportunity to rebuild the team.
