No point asking which pub, there aren't any within about a mile of the ground other than their Supporters Club and I don't think they let away fans in......

I will be there after making a quick dash through the Mersey Tunnel, any other Bunkerites going?

Ahh, just the thing to get the blood racing - a cold and probably wet Friday Night game in a ground made out of breeze blocks and corrugated iron at the very end of an Industrial Estate and three quarters in Wales......

Shall I wear a pink carnation?

The one win would have been in the LDV, golden goal from Stuart Brightwell perchance? I remember being there for that, about 30 Poolies in a crowd of 900 and they put us in the main stand.... Andy Crosby got sent off (I think for kicking Hollund)

aye, I went to that LDV game. As a quirk of fate, the last time either side won at the other's ground in a League match, they both did it in that same season.thirty-odd years ago!!!

Albatross, I'll have a free copy of the latest Monkey Business for you if you haven't already got one.

I'm setting off in ten minutes - I'm meeting my mate who supports Wrexham and I'm crashing out at his place tonight after a night on the lash (hopefully). Their lass is from Hartlepool so she might come to the match as well.

For anyone that hasn't set off, look out for a largish bloke with dark hair, the navy away top from season before last and glasses. I'm not wearing a pink carnation for anyone though - perhaps I should come in waving my arms around so you can recognise me by my wingspan!

Why don't you wear a stuffed albatross on your head for the craic?

Go on - you know you want to!

It's funny (or it might be cos I've known you for quite a long time!) but you can actually TELL by looking at you that you ARE Albatross!

Don't ask me HOW, you just can.

I KNEW I should have had a nose job...... It's the beak isn't it? Go on, I can take it.... once I've saved up enough I'm having it shortened. The electrolysis has got rid of the feathers and you'd never guess the legs are computer controlled but it all costs money....

However I won't have a pad with me this time!
