If it's supposed to be the best XI, shouldn't just about all of them be borers?

I might not like the Piddlesbrough but I think there's a fair likelihood they'd beat us 9 times out of 10 (and darlo 11 times out of ten).

I think he has picked the side given their relative performances for their clubs this season, which you full well knew, I am sure.

Nonetheless, putting Pools and Darlo strikers in front of the likes of Alves is a big leap of faith.

Recently a listener asked me to pick my squad from the regions 3 sides based on performances this season, he set the rules with a minimum of 3 players from each side and no more than 5 from anyone club.Here's my choice with subs to boot. Alves has only scored three goals. Barker has 13 and has created a far bigger impact than the Brazilian so far.
