I think that he should stay here.

Why the hell would anybody want to go to New Zealand? It's got nowt going for it except for the sheep and the secluded spots to take them to.

If you were gonna go to the arse of travelling half way around the world then surely you'd be better off going to Australia?

Your a clown. Do some traveling mate, theres more to the world than whats up your arse.
I was hoping for some adult comment, then you turned up, very disappointed. Once your pull your head out oh rosey cheeked one, tell me why in your 'wordly' view  should aus be a preferance, ( please don't use ill informed opinion). Wellington plays in the A league, has brought well and has a bloody good lifestyle.

Where's that little smiley with the fishing rod when you need him? rolfl

Seriously though, I would be upset to see Joel leave here for anywhere so it's nowt personal. He's probably our best player and one we can ill afford to lose- an entertainer with creativity who any team would miss.

So I hope that you don't get him and he's playing in our blue and white again next season.

PS. Try looking at the original content of your own post about him "being better off..." signing for you if you don't want sharp replies in the future.

The standard of the aussie league must be conference level surely?

They have a wage cap over there too so it's not like he would be raking it in.

Nice catch or nice out, all good anyways. Yeah was a bit sensitive re sheep, its as old as aussie convict jokes. p.s theres more sheep in aus and more 'private' space. But they still root roos and have the insest capital of the world (Tasmania).
So your sad if he goes, sorry but thats only good news for us if we get him. Though I hear he had some knee probs on the weekend, anything serious. He has a history of that, doesn't he? Still think he would be value for money when hes fit. Maybe oneday you can make it down under and watch him play, I will shout you enough cold beers to get a elephant drunk and merry. Seriously good atmosphere at home games here, average crowd apprx 15,000 and hoping for 20,000 with the new signings weve made.

I honestly think we would give Hartlepool a 'very' good game
Yeah we have a wage cap, but also a no $ limit for a marqee player, which is what we would call him.
Surely he would do well in the money stakes and this is a farkin good place to live and if he has a family a great place to raise children.

James Brown is a much better player.

More skillful, quicker, and grafts alot more than Joel.

If Joel leaves it depends who we can bring in. If we can bring in Darrly Duffy then I guess the majority of us would be happy. If he instead tries to make use of Foley and Mackay I think the majority of us would be seriously pissed off.

Since we can't see into the future it would be a shame to lose Joel, but by no means would I be gutted as I would be if James Brown left.
