Well, I felt a bit sad that most supporters left before the 'lap of honour'.
Before you say anything, I agree....but there were still players who'd been doing their best all season who deserved a bit of acknowledgement.
BTW we didn't see DW come out at the end. Did he?

They did a "lap of honour"?!

I had a feeling that they might.

That's why I sodded off when the whistle went cos I didn't want anybody getting the impression that I was pleased with the way they've "performed" this season.

Mr Ripper, surely no-one with even a casual grasp of English could get the impression you were pleased with the performance this season

no more than a couple of players deserved any kind of accolade for this season, quality has been thin on the ground and I don't think we have a cat in hell's chance of staying up next season with the current set-up (players and management). Here's to a summer clearout and some increased quality coming in.
Onwards and upwards, otherwise stand still and you're finished.

He did come out, he stayed in the centre circle with Liddle. It appeared Liddle was telling him where the game had gone wrong. Glad to see Ben Clark get a good ovation, if any deserved it this year its him, i know hes only played 15 or so games, but to be turfed out the team like he was, for NO reason was a disgrace.

one of the reasons Wilson is so disliked, is that Ben Clark is easily the best defender we had at the club, yet he consistently picked Antwi and Nelson who have both been shocking for 75% of their appearances this season.

I'd sack him on that basis alone, anyone he thinks Godwin Antwi is better than Ben Clark, for that long is a muppet.

Yes, since nothing is ever verbally explained, you can only go by appearances, and that was totally mystifying. And totally frustrating. If you had to say DW's one big failing it's the terminal length of time he always seems to take to realise something isn't working, and put it right.

Well, I think the other big failing is selective vision. If you've already made up your mind about something (about Mr McCunnie for example) then any little thing confirms your suspicions. Conversely, if you've once made up your mind that a player is OK, nothing counts as counter-evidence

You know what? This is just a guess but I reckon there may have been some sort of agreement between ourselves and Liverpool which said that we had to play him in a certain number of games. :uhoh: Just my opinion of course, but it would make sense wouldn't it?

that counts for Joel Porter too
Danny Wilson clearly is an arsehole, and I don' like him.

cant argue with that. it just borders on stupidy, break up the meanest defence we have had in a few years, for a 19 year old kid from liverpool, who if was any good would be playing in the championship on loan. He has the is a good athlete, but i feel he will become the lower leagues titus bramble. Id like to see him prove me wrong, i just dont see it.

I agree with you. It would make sense though.

Let's face it, some of the decisions that Mr Wilson has made this season have stepped over the border of stupidity.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson found the box Antwi came in and discovered the instructions, read them and said...."Shit....he's a striker" :uhoh:

browny was defo out, a gadgie tried to call him over to get an autograph, but he signaled back that he "couldn't"
it semed to me me that the all the players kept a certain distance from the edge of the pitch, "instructions" maybe?

Clearly the young fans aren't important! Maybe it was the police who told them I don't know, seems an odd decision unless they thought they might just be rubbing it in after a terrible season and getting too close might prompt a pitch invasion?
