 Post subject: Sandblasting

I've got this brick garage that one of the walls (outside) had at some stage been painted in a yellow masonary paint. Is sandblasting the best way to clean it off or is there a better way?

pressure washer will shift it if it is only masonary paint sand blast might be too harsh
