Steak bakes are my favourites, but they do leave a slight aftertaste of margarine.
Ooh and the chargrill chicken sandwiches aren't bad.

I kid you not.

As if Paul Screetons "My Wife Had A Ploughmans" ridiculous Eateries reviews weren't bad enough, now they've got people buying Sarnies and Pasties then "reviewing" them in the paper.

God Save Us All.

Now THATS funny!

Who the hell comes up with this stuff?

Another "Mail" question I'd like to ask.

Why does Peter French only review crap Heavy Rock cd's on the same label?

And why oh why is every mention of The White Negroes preceded by the word "Legendary"??

Perhaps a letter to the editor could answer your questions? That is what they are always asking for, opinions and feedback. Don't be shy EAD.

There are a lot of people around who remember things about White Negroes gigs that never happened so yes they are legendary.

For some reason katcha, some folk who were at those gigs in the mid 90s seem to have less than perfect recollections of them making them legendary rather than factual.

Can anyone tell me what the fook chargrill means? -- burnt? tea flavoured?
And while we're on at it, what the fook are wholetail scampi? Do some eateries serve scampi with bits of their tails missing?

You often hear of a 'bed' of lettuce/spinach/cabbage. Why does a steak or whatever need to sleep on a pile of shredded leaves?
