Have both been offered professional contracts with the club. See the Pools website for more details

Well done to the two boys concerned, although I am surprised they've let Craig Ruddy go.

The big surprise for me is Craig Gott. I thought he might have been one of the ones to make it. Comfortable on the ball and a capable player in midfield as well as centre back and right back. He also takes a good free kick and provides a goal threat. Despite playing more for the reserves than the youths this season he is second top scorer for the youth team (though a long long long way behind Tymon).

...BUT he maybe didint run around enough for Mr Wilson and maybe he was susceptible to long diagonal balls? Being comfortable on the ball and providing agoal threat is not what Danny wants. We need experienced slow workhorses like Richie Barker

As I said on another thread you would think that they would keep more than 2 of them on given how well they have done this season? Seems a pity for these 7 lads who have just been released. Still, as Ken says, the club is run the same as their other businesses are...its probably the absent fans fault
