Because it's getting gradually worse. Full of trendy types with blazers, jeans and trilby's thinking they're cool for likeing the next Strokes rip off

Music's been rubbish since the turn of the century

Music's been very ordinary since 2003.

Festival went too commercial when Melvin Benn stepped in, although in fairness something had to be done.

Ticket subscriptions went down by a third this year and there's so many festivals now that swimming in mixed cattle poo and rain isn't a badge of honour anymore.

Get yourselves to Latitude instead.

Could be a good move. Tindersticks, Sigur Ros and Grinderman all playing :sweeeet:

A couple of my mate's went last year and loved it. It was a toss up between that and Green Man in Wales but, seeing as I have a lift there and back, Green Man (Super Furries, Iron & Wine and King Creosote) it is!

I got tickets, but at the risk of looking like a fairweather nancy boy..... If the forecasts bad I'm not going :uhoh:

I really can't do 4 years on the trot in the mud.

It's not being a nancy mate, eventually you get to dread the downpour and all these 'it's part of the enjoyment' people seriously need a coat of looking at. I did seven years out of nine and got two great weekends out of it, but sleeping in sloppy mud isn't fun!!

Ive done 14 Glastonburies & had 5 mudfests, while it doesnt ruin the festival altogether it does make a difference ,mainly because instead of wandering freely around you end up just trudging along the main drag with the hordes & are on your feet most of the day so are too bloody knackered to enjoy yerself.

This'll be my 7th glastonbury and it's been 3 hot, 3 wet so far.

Since i split up with my ex split, i've now got a bit of extra money to be able to buy decent waterproofs, which practically guarantees a scorcher knowing my luck!

I'd prefer it to be dry but either way, not arsed
