from about 14 feet too, irony is that i've just got a safety ladder mat and it was the very first window I used it on!

nearly broke my legs, but escaped with cuts and bad bruises... :uhoh:

NATIONWIDE PERSONAL INJURY SOLICITOR UK
We are a national network of specialist lawyers and if you have been involved in an accident, within the last three years, that was not your fault and you have been injured we have the expertise to recover maximum compensation for you. If you’ve suffered in an accident you need a personal injury solicitor who is a member of The Law Society panel of personal injury experts to ensure that you receive specialist advice. Law Society panel members are highly qualified and are able to deal with a wide range of different types of accident compensation claims including car accidents, injuries sustained at work and trips and slips in public or private places. We are not a claims management company and you will never have to deal with any ill informed, unqualifed 'claims managers'.

In addition to specialist panel membership a number of our personal injury solicitor panel members further specialise in narrow fields including motor accidents, industrial illnesses, fatal accidents, spinal cord problems and brain damage. No matter what your specific accident type or the physical damage sustained we have someone who really does know what they are talking about and will be able to deal efficiently and accurately with your claim. It really can be very risky to take pot luck and go to your local High Street solicitor who, whilst accepting your claim, may not have the experience or expertise to deal with it properly in order to maximise the compensation payable to you. If he does mess the job up you can of course sue for professional negligence, and all solicitors are insured, but that takes time and you could be waiting many years to get your original claim cleared up and paid.

Our lawyers use the no win no fee scheme and compensation is paid in full with absolutely no deductions whatsoever. We do not ask you to fund or finance your claim in any respect. Put quite simply, you do not have to put your hand in your pocket at any time. There are no loans, no medical reports, no insurance and no expenses to pay and our claims are completely and absolutely risk free. If a personal injury solicitor who is on our panel accepts your case we can guarantee that win or lose there will be no charge whatsoever. Take the guesswork out of your choice of solicitor by allowing us to advice you on who the experts really are. To reassure you we can tell you that we have been in this business for over 25 years and during that time we have built up a thorough understanding of who the real professional players are in the accident compensation claims industry.

The Law Society panel of personal injury experts is only open to those who have expertise and experience in settling accident claims and panel members must be able to show detailed knowledge of the relevant areas of accident law together with incumbent ethical issues and have specialist advocacy skills.

I did the same thing a few years back, initially it aint too bad, the aches and pains start the next day... I did four ribs in and for some reason the next day could not lift my head off the pillow. you'll feel like you've spent a shift in a tumble drier, I know just how you'll be feeling, hope you feel better soon.

Ladders are lethal. There's more accidents on ladders than anything else. Shortly after finishing building our extension, the bloke who built it fell off a ladder, not very high, damaged his pelvis and had to finish work. He was a good builder too. What a waste.

Go steady Salty. You tend to take more risks when you're self employed. Hope none of your injuries including the tendency to ask confusing questions aren't long term.
