you speak...? Do you pause to wonder if your comments can be construed in someway that label you as someone not conforming with current state opionion ? I was just reading a book where a dictatorship was defined as .... 'a society where every conversation has a pause while the the acceptability of every reply is rapidly mentally analysed'....!

No. It's always been my downfall.

No, nobody understands much of what I say anyway so it really doesn't bother me.

And I live in a dictatorship.

If no-one else does they aren't qualified to comment. thrilled thrilled

Especially if your're involved with a small Yorshire person.

Maybe should've thought about that before I said anything

The Thought Police are alive and well in this country, as they are in any self-respecting dictatorship.

An very active in messageboardland too. Take that thread about African dictators, its a statistical fact that they can't run their own country but because I said so, I'm a big fat racist. I cried myself to sleep over it.

Ah shut up man, if you didn't use such sweeping generalisations and a lack of backing your statements up you wouldn't have made such a fool of yourself

Self-richeous?

And even Tatchell tried to arrest Mugabe. I don't like the bloke though, I think he's a twat.

I look forward to you cross referencing experienced sniperdom as another reason why you're apparently right in the future anyway. thrilled

If you spend years driving a Ford Fiesta and know its capabilities imtimately, you kind of know its not the case when its stated that it will do 160 mph. So yeah, experience is important, it gives you an opinion based on something other than what you've read in a book.

Hell I'll agree with the Tatchell comment. Anything to get his face on TV. He only arrested Mugabe to drag more attention to OutRage, the most militant gay rights group going (not that I'm against gay rights like, just when they make themselves more equal than the rest of us. Like Tatchell. With everything).

And Obi, I think it's quite sweet that people aim fixed catty remarks from way below their age rolfl

Better than watching an Oliver Stone fillum or a video on YouTube though, right?

Maybe its because I'm a bit thick, not having a degree and that, but that one went straight over my head.

A JFK reference. But I'm not gonna hold it against you. You're a right-wing military type of the older generation who likes Enoch Powell and Maggie Thatcher. I'm a left-wing technology type of the younger generation who likes the NFL and computer games. We both have the right to believe in what we do because we can only base it on life experience. For all you know, I have a bigger personal understanding than you think, and the same goes for the other way around.

I'm not self-righteous or a Tatchell lover though. I do have a big interest in history and politics though

edit: try not to hold me having a degree against me though - pretty much every bloke and his sister has one these days. Not really worth the paper they're written on, but the experience isn't too bad.
