lineo? Do you mean for the penalty? If so the ref gave it not the linesman.

But he's spot on, the referee was dire but not as dire as his penalty decision.

The thing that frightens me is the fact that I regularly come away from a match saying that's the worst referee I have seen.....................only to find the next one is even worse. It would be laughable if it wasn't so serious. Most of them are out of their depth and I will not accept that they are all straight. We must have a reasonable percentage of bent ones. How many people are completely honest within the job they do?

Well put it this way, two professional Welsh referees got done for claiming fraudulent incapacity benefits.

I can't even say he made an honest mistake because it was right in front of him.

And also...I hope this a wind up but someone on Radio Cleveland said the referee said that Ben Clark won the ball cleanly and clearly but went in with the intention of getting the player...

Wilson also said that the referee told him the ball was dead after Clark's tackle.

I am very worried by either of these statements.

What really pisses me off about Referees is when they make an awful decision in the premiershit they get demoted....to the Football League!!!! banghead banghead banghead

Surely they should be suspended for a couple of weeks and not given to us....if they can't get it right in the premiershite how can they get it right anywhere???? sctatchinghead  banghead

But saying that....I absolutely hate seeing the likes of Lawrenson and Hansen slating Refs on MOTD after they have viewed the footage 100 times from every available angle and in slow motion....kunts!!!! banghead banghead banghead banghead

If that is true then referee is coward and a lier.

If he thought there was intent to harm Scotland in Ben's tackle then surely a yellow or red would have followed? It didn't and the ref has said this after the event in an attempt to cover his tracks.

I'd be very interested in someone like Jeff Winters view on that decision, I understand he reads the message boards.

We should have a vote at the end of the season and give an award to the worst ref. Call it the Crossley award.
