No I think we can be up there, just need to play for 90 minutes like we did in the 2nd half & be more clinical in front of goal

Porter seems to be getting panicky about getting back on the score sheet

In his defence Barron hasn't really played in over a year so bound to take time to find his feet again

Agree about Gibb - truly awful
Would have given Robson 8 (or possibly even 9) best I've seen him play in ages & teamed up well with Humphries

Liddle had a poor game - again. Was his good start just a flash in the pan?

Well maybe everyones forgetting how young Liddle is. And maybe how inexperienced he is at first team football. Give him some room.

I think the bones are there and given another six or eight games it'll start to flow. Remember that we got relegated because we were poor. Very poor indeed but we're only losing an average of a goal a game, we've had some great wins and everyone wants to knock us off our perch. The only thing I'm worried about is that there's a bit of a gap opening between us and third. However these teams haven't had their dodgy spell and we've weathered ours.

Keep the faith as Mr Yakker. C. would say.......

[quote="chip fireball"]would agree with a lot of that. apart from barron who was absolutely awful. at fault for the goal ( was meant to be guarding the front post and wandered off it)

chip have another look at it and tell me it was not the worst gaff by a keeper you have seen
they called taffy a flapper but that was bloody awful

Was it right and sensible to give Mickey Barron the captain's armband back? Would it have made any difference if Nelson had kept it?

If Barron was supposed to be on the post why was he marking one of their players?

Oh I don't know, when he went through their player and got booked he was a shining hero for me. They'd been getting away with shit like that all game and suddenly it stopped.
