Whilst walking Archie (The Experienced Greyhound In The Traditional Racing Mould] this morning and getting my early morning fix of good craic/banter at the papershop, I found out from Oscar The Brummie [Wolves fan] that Ali Gibb used to live at Sherburn Hill, renting a house in Bannerman Tce :shock:

He then moved to Langley Park.
Oscar The Brummie [Wolves fan] also told me that he'd asked Ali G, was there any chance of a Pools signed shirt before he left the club....and sure enough he popped one through Oscar The Brummie [Wolves fan]'s letterbox.

Apart form Oscar the Brummie (Wolves fan) and Ali Gibb (and of course Lord Smythe) there's a weird and wonderful assortment of craftsmen, drop-outs, retired artists, musicians etc etc living secretly in obscure Durham villages like Langley Park. The area is an anthropologist's dream
