Our lasses mate bought this for the bairn. Although the stripes go the wrong way I still like it. I want to name it after a Pools player who he looks like, but I can't really think of any he is the spit of.

Unless someone comes up with anything better, his default name will be 'Doigy' as it will be easy for the bairn to say when he starts talking. It was going to be 'Borthwick' but that's a bit long.

If he can say that when he starts talking, he'll be at Oxbridge when he's five doing a PhD in Philosophy.

No, you'd be surprised how quickly 'Borthwick' would catch on. Words are just sounds and rhythms to little kids.
The bairn had more or less a full vocabulary of cheese names by the time she was about 2 and a half

I wouldn't call it 'Doigy' as that would equate to being an utter waste of money and therefore disrespectful to your lasses mate.

I take back what I said about Eliza Carthy. Not that it wasn't true, but she's also fantastic

What about 'Taffy' after Eifion. When he asks you why it is called Taffy you can tell him about Eifion's wonder goal at Darlo.

Surely as it doesn't have hands on the ends of its arms the logical choice of name would be Budtz?
