Following on from all the comments about picking our best players (in their preferred positions), What would you do if you were the manager and James Brown was 100% fit and itching to play tomorrow?

Would you stick by a winning formula or do exactly what most of you have been professing and strengthen the team by adding probably our best player?

Hmmmm.....

The lads in the team have done a good job, they've earned their places, so he'll just have to wait for an opportunity.

I couldn't be arsed to go through with the rigmarole after winning the lottery so I'd get the best Manager in the Country to sort it out for me!!!! :sweeeet: :sweeeet: :sweeeet:

Shit....I'm sure I had Keegan's number in my phone!!!! banghead  confised

PS....I'd include Brown and play 4-5-2!!!! :sweeeet: :sweeeet: :sweeeet:

And just hope that Mr.Magoo is the Referee!!!! :sweeeet:

I like Mackay he's come on leaps and bounds and think he could become a real crowd favourite at the Vic BUT! imagine Joel on current form playing up front with Brownie on top form. Show me a team at this level with two better footballers up front?

I'm starting to get a slight bonk on at the thought.

It's a shame Joels house is now up for sale banghead

So what about a front two of Mackay & Brown then?
And please don't tell me they're too inexperienced/young or whatever. If Brown is the best thing since sliced bread he won't suddenly become stale bread for playing with Mackay will he.

So much for 'well played lads, 10 out of 10, but I'm dropping you' ...it would appear Brown is a member of that Barkeresque elite that walk back into the team regardless of how it's performing.
If it were a clean sheet he'd be in my 11, but to walk back into a team that's doing something would be unfair on the lads doing the business now.
