Give the lad a new and improved contract. Change Shout's name back to Chicago Rock, tell him Dimi's coming back to go out on the tap with him and tell him Kylie's on at the WES this summer.

We cant let players like Porter leave, he is just too good to even consider it, he's been here a few years now and must be quite settled, ets get 2 more years out of him and then let him settle on Bondo beach, he'll have deserved it :sweeeet:

i seriously think we should start a 'dont let Joel go' petition, and give Pools a few thousand reasons to keep him. My favourite ever Pools player by far!

Why don't you contact the Hartlepool Mail and ask them to start a campaign? They love a good campaign - they currently have the save the Post Offices campaign and Sort out Steetley and the Grot Spots and that. Email the newsdesk at mail.news@northeast-press.co.uk and suggest it!

Joel Porter has been outstanding since the first day he played for us against Swindon on Saturday, 29th November 2003.

I agree Joel Porter must stay no matter how much it costs to keep him...

even when he is not on form, he still creates so many chances, no wonder Boydy scored all those goals back in the day.

He has a footballing brain that belongs in the premiership in my opinion.

One pass tonight I was sat on the second back row of the Cyril Knowles directly behind Joel and I couldn't spot it, he did though and nearly played Monky in.
