I always remember as a kid when the Ice-Cream Van came round me Dad would give us a large glass bowl to take out and get filled up!!!! :sweet:

He would then put the ice-cream into glassesd and pour lemonade in!!!! :sweet: :sweet:

It only happened once in a blue moon like!!!! :uhoh:

What's your favourite from the van????

When I was a kid I loved a Strawberry split or a Milk Lolly!!!! :sweet:

Now I'll have a Feast!!!! :sweet:

Mivvi, every time. Preferably strawberry. Or a Rocket. Now I have a Feast like Mutts.

The ice-cream van outside Hartland School down here was selling fiver wraps to the kids at dinnertime. What a scamp, eh??

I remember two warring Ice Cream vans, I wanted this English one cause he sold Magnems 10 pence cheaper...Anyhow, the wannabee Italian stopped me and asked me why I wanted the other...needless to say he started giving me free Magnems.

Competition only benefits the consumer.

Oh and my Dad threatened to batter one once cause they kept parking outside his drive.

Is it only in Hartlepool that the strawberry sauce is known as monkey's blood? I've never heard it referred to as such elsewhere.
