imagine where we could have been if they had been used more this season ?

look at last weeks bournemouth team selection and tell me wilson has a clue what he is doing.

me mother could have picked this team weeks ago.

whats the betting any praise dished out by the manager on monday has a but after it.

he will probably say porter scored a good goal but has to be more consistent.

mcunnie scored a good goal but has to defend the long diagonal ball better.

monkhouse played well but has to be more committed to the cause.
clappp clappp clappp clappp sad thing is that could be true

and that if only they all were as good as barker we would have nothing to worry about.

and many folks won't renew season tickets - me included. Monkhouse is a JOY to watch when he plays for Pools - and I will be very pissed off if he's not a Pools player next season.
I would wish death on Danny Wilson if Wilson stays and Monkhouse goes.

Superb stuff today after a shaky first fifteen minutes when we could easily have been a goal down. Difficult to pick out a bad performer. All of the goals were excellent in their own way and we could even have won by more. Ten points ahead of the bottom four with another home game to come. Surely it's time to relax, kick on, and see how far up this table we can finish.

lets be serious here mr mad john, you cant really be suggesting wilson was right to select thompson ahead of monky, foley and craddock ahead of porter, and antwi ahead of mcunnie, or to keep playing budz ?

or perhaps you were ?

the fact remains that monkhouse, mcunnie and porter are serious footballers that have spent stupid amounts of time on the sidelines this season due to the pig headedness or foolishness of the manager.

and if porter and monky walk at the end of the season there will be hell on. rage

So Mr Chip do you really think Monkhouse wants to still be here next season, or is this just another opportunity for you to say "I told you so, and it's all Danny Boys fault" Monkhouse will leave at the first chance of a move he gets, like I heard someone saying yesterday, "he would go to York City if there was an extra 10 bob a week in it for him!
And if Porter wants to go home to Australia, then who can blame him, and that won't be because of Danny Boy either!

so who do you think has pissed off 2 of our best players ?

mother teresa ?

I didn't know they were pissed off sctatchinghead I guess Danny Boy might have pissed Monky off by not letting him walk out as soon as Leeds alledgedly showed an interest, which co-incided with a suprising loss of form and a lack of interest by Monky, maybe he's learned a lesson albeit at our expense.
Porter didn't look pissed off yesterday, well apart from the opening 10 minutes. Maybe he's just homesick and wants to go home next season, I can't think not playing him when he was injured would have pissed him off do you

would start him most weeks, and try different forwards with him to see if we can get a good match. We're unlikely to recreate the Boyd/Porter partnership as there are few Boyds around, but Porter plus Moore/Mackay should have been given some more thought.

I would put browny up there with joel when he is fit, i think he is the closest thing we have to boyd if not better, and in my opinion would be a partnership all defenders in our division would fear.

Ok who are you really?? Only time we seem to hear from you on here is to defend Wilson, you seem to know more than we do about what goes on beside the scenes (not sure I believe that though) I haven't got involved in any of this before, but it's really getting a bit old now - do you try to push water uphill as well?

He must be Danny Wilson because he goes to every match but doesn't watch the game.

Bloody ell they're all at it, I can't remember ever defending Danny Boy either, Mr Chip might trawl through some old posts and prove me wrong mind.
Now I don't get involved in the clique or with any posts about what's on the tele, what crisps you like or how much nettie paper you use, obviously some of you will use a lot more than others cos the shiite comes out of both ends.
But I do add me two pennorth worth when I read what I believe is unfair criticism of any of our players, and the total blind bias towards our favourites, whatever they do or rather don't do.
Read Mr MadJohns posts on this thread he seems to be a bit more level headed and seems to go to watch most games, I know it's not popular to defend our own and go against the grain, it's far easier to jump on the band wagon and just agree or say nowt.
Now just when I thought it'll all probably die down now that Barkers out for a while, why do I think I'm kidding myself, because I bet all the posts are already being typed and saved just ready for the first mis placed pass by Willie Boland and it'll be the same old shiite about Boland and Danny Boy, as it was with Barker.
For the record I think Danny Boy has dropped quite few bolocks this season, i.e playing Budtz from day 2, messing about with the left back spot for no reason, although Mr Madjohn disagrees, putting Monky on the bench with no intention of playing him, he should have left him out all together or played him, the team selection at Bournemouth, persevering with Antwi, etc etc
It'll be interesting to see who comes into the firing line next, my money is already on Boland and for what it's worth I think our midfield is worse off when he's not playing. So as soon as Ben Clark is fit and the campaign kicks off in ernest to get him in the team, I'll probably be on disagreeing with most of the cack Sorry

everyone is entitled to their opinions, otherwise we wouldn't have a messageboard, but i'm leaning towards the optometrists on this one. some of the bile vented towards certain players, while others' shyte doesn't stink whatever they do, is just plain ridiculous and verging on the psychotic.

i like a bit of a shout and rant as much as the next person, probably more so than others, but there are a few bunny boilers on here stpid

no names like, chip and grave
