I listened to a Gills fan on the way home back to the station

Went along the lines of "They didn't create many chances and their goals came out of the blue...from a chance to make it 2-1 and make a comeback, we were three down....we deserved a point".

I thought almost the opposite to all of that.

The penalty was just about their first chance!

We created and played football all game, and could have been three or four up by half time!

They had a very good 1st 15 minutes, created a couple of chances then, not much after that

Like Mr.Parmo said....the first 10/15 minutes they went for it to get an early goal and then they would have sat back on it....but it wasn't to be!!!! :sweeeet: :grin:

If Budtz had been in goal we'd have been 2-0 down after quarter of an hour and it would have been a different game completely.
