it's vital the club gets the council to relinquish it's control of the Vic, otherwise our ground won't even be big enough for League Two in future!!!!!

Maybe this board could be more active in pushing the council or setting up site for people to register there feelings so it can be given to the Mayor or the council.

I think enough people have made their feelings known about the local Council's decision not to sell a couple of years back.
Oldham's councillors were more or less forced to back down at a public meeting, on their initial plans to refuse Oldham Athletic permission to redevelop their ground. The second vote passed the plans by 10-1.
A little bit of public pressure on these nameless, faceless councillors and they soon show what they're really made of when they have to stand up against real people. If they had any convictions, they'd have stood by their original decision - but they are weasel-faced twats only interested in what THEY can get out of it.And they'll back down in the face of fierce opposition.

I can't understand why these clubs are building so many empty seats. Or have they heard about a coming new wave of mega rock concerts?

the grounds don't have to be huge, but a lot of them need modernising, and the extra facilities built in them can generate cash for the club 7 days a week, not just match day once a fortnight.Pools do need a bigger away end, if nothing else.

So the first job is we start a mass campaign of writing to our councillors & MP
I may be mistaken here, but I think the mayor is excluded from any debates/decisions on this issue as he is a known Pools supporter therefore has a personal interest in the outcome
