I dont care who is manager as long as we stay up, wilson has made some huge mistakes but i'll give him the benefit of the doubt after tonights result.

So, its ok fo fluck up the whole season and this one result warrants him to be kept as manager?

Unfortunately a lot of folk on this forum are very fickle and one win changes everything.

Why not, survival is the main key and if he sticks with the team we all know is good enough to stay up then give him more time.

Btw, Collins is going to make a huge difference. He is class :sweeeet:

doesn't change everything, but changes the fact that we looked odds on to go down. win on saturday, and (fingers crossed), we're a league one side next season. thrilled

That's the problem, .....'happy to susrvive' ....., we should be furious we've been allowed to get into this position in the first place... After ten yeras of stability, there's still that pre IOR elemennt who still haven't got off their pschological knees. Next thing, it'll be an open top bus tour, civic reception and 'let's hope Danny spends wisely in the summer'...trebles all round! :roll:

We're only happy to survive in the present context Snowy, or at least most of us are - there were the odd few at the start of the season who said survival was the No.1 target for the season but nearly all of us wished for better.

But once we saw the spectre of two years ago looming large, survival suddenly seemed like a very good ambition indeed, and it still does! It doesn't mean it's always going to be that way. If we survive by the skin of our teeth I doubt there'll be an open top bus tour and I don't think it will affect IOR's appraisal of Danny at the end of the season. Managers have a tendency to ... er ... "disappear" from IOR's employment at the most unexpected of times even when they are doing OK. :laugh:

We've NEVER looked odds on to go down this season, that's a silly thing to say.
