aaah, this reminds me of a gripe I was gonna post t'other week...

the gripe stems from watching these old matches and it is....:

players letting the ball run out of play/obstructing each other so the ball goes out.
In these old games it didn't happen! If the ball was close to the line players would keep it in and use it often to good effect if play was stretched etc. Now its standard practise to usher it out and let both teams have time to regroup.

It bugs the hell out of me.
