I still want him in (at least til the end of the season) but I'm rapidly losing confidence, mainly over Monkhouse and Porter and his choice of Keepers.

When Monkhouse first returned I thought it was quite reasonable to keep him on the bench and use him sparingly to wean him back into the first team. However it has become quite apparent that there is (despite my initial sceptisim) something going on behind the scenes between Wilson and Monkey as his refusal to play him shows (even now that Thompson has returned to Leeds).

The stuff with Porter is a joke, he hasn't been given a fair run in the team until recently, he is our best player, even with the year and a half he had out injured and cruically he is entertaining to watch, something thats in short supply at pools at the moment. I genuinelly believe that he will return to oz this summer for good.

Thats the negative side of it, however on the whole I rate his signings, Bolland, Barker, Monkhouse, Ian Moore (tho I'll be on my own with this one), Duffy, McCunnie and Collins all have been good to great signings. Also I believe changing a manager at this stage is too risky, I believe we'll limp over the finishing line with enough points to stay in the division but at the end of the season we need to seriously review the management and the squad. I don't believe that all our problems will be solved with simply sacking Wilson, there is something wrong with the players and I think they must take a fair portion of the anger directed towards Wilson.

In for me. There's no point changing manager at this stage of the season and we won't go down anyway, there only one relegation spot up for grabs. But he must sort out the keeper's position and Monkhouse and do it now. Mind you, I said that last week and nowt happened. banghead

Only one relegation spot left, well we are making a damn good fist of trying to fill it

Losing to the Muff was fooking laughable, as was the team that pig-ignorant, thick as a whale omelette, put out

If we won't go down ...what's the point off keeping him? Do we hang on to see if it comes right, the evidence suggests it aint going to. ...So when do we get rid, because if we apply the old 'no point in changing the manager' line, they'd have to die, resign, retire or be caught in a compromising position with a goat on camera before we'd get a new one, it would be a job for life.

I think Wilson has earned the right, after last season's record-breaking campaign, to sort out the team in the summer. If it doesn't improve next season, then think about getting rid.

What difference does giving him the summer months make

He hasn't been able to sort it out in the past six months, so giving him more time won't help

it is time for him to go and now
he has lost the squad and he won't be able to get that back so if he is given more time then whole sale clear out will follow and we will be in the same boat next season as the players he has taken on so far despite his promise are no better that what we had and some a long way short of that so what would he bring in given the chance?
you can not count Collins as a good signing with one and a half games under his belt he could do the same next time out who knows
and he has not earned the right to any thing as said on here plenty of times the here and now is what counts

What need is there to read it again, is there a hidden message in it?

He deserves the rest of the season at least, considering his previous track record with you.

Read my post again Snowy.[/quote]I've read it several times, between the lines, under the lines, made anagrams of it and even tried to de-code it. I even recorded it to music and played it backwards for a hidden message and it still says the same thing... that insanity runs rampant in your family.

88 points last season, 22 clean sheets, we are unbeatable, no title of course, but it speaks for itself.

Clearly I got him wrong and you were all right at the end of the day.

I hope you have a long and fruitful relationship.
