If true,

WILSON OUT, WILSON OUT, WILSON OUT

welcome to the board WILSON.

(if it isn't true that I still feel similar)

One slight grain of hope...

I do remember this site saying Liverpool had sent scouts to look at Boyd.

But the article does sound less speculative and more certain.

After the last couple of seasons Porter has had I always expected him to go back to Oz.His last couple of season have been terrible for him, partly due to injuries & partly to being dropped.

Has anyone considered that the injuries are probably the main reason behind this?

Pure speculation on my part but I don't think his knees are in the best shape and the shorter Australian season is probably less demanding.

His home is 12,000 miles away everybody has to go home at some stage. I know it's in fashion to slag off Wilson and his team selection was a fooking disgrace yesterday but you can't blame him for everything. I'm sure he'd want to keep Joel Porter.

you boys at the mail really have not got a clue have you ?

how highly do you think porter rates wilson as a manager on a scale of 0-10 ? 10 being very highly and 0 being that he thinks he is a clown.

you can have odds of 2-1 for any score above 3 for as much money as you want.

You should get rid of the fireball part of your username Mark and replace it with 'On My Shoulder'

wilson lost 50% of the dressing room months ago. you guys at the mail can spout as much shite as you like about how great wilson is and how we are on the cusp of the play-offs but it wont wash.

his only successful summer signing walked out on him. thats how popular he is.

surely you lot are not so out of touch to see for your own eyes how unpopular he is and how apathetic the fans have become.

and dont just say its only a few keyboard warriors on the message boards. theres over 1000 gone missing off the gate this last few months cos folk wont pay 20 quid to watch dull football.

leave wilson in place till the end of the season by all means but he has to go then.

By what we are seeing on the field I'd say that post is pretty much spot on, I also agree that the best time to get rid is at the end of the season BUT if we lose on Tuesday (which we will) and them fail to beat Gillingham he has to go then as changing the manager could be the only thing that saves us from relegation. I still think we will stay up but I think that would be more down to the ineptitude of the teams below us rather than us getting ourselves out of it. If we only take one or less points from the next two games we are in serious trouble looking at our fixtures and he has to go then.
