Google [Bot] is Google's check-up tool to monitor webpages and forums so that if you want to search for something on here through their engine, they'll have it up-to-date.

Just checks on webpages so they can list them, basically

A 'bot' is a interwebby thing that wanders around collecting info about websites. they've always been there but I changed the set up earlier today so we can all see these things when they're visiting. I was curious, no more than that. For once fatty is innocent but feel free to slag him, he'll be guilty of something or other.
