What was the highlight of your trip to Seaton then?

Mine was always the 'Grand National' game. Orange Lord won me a quid one time and I always stuck with it after that. The trick was to pick one of the better horses, which only won you 10 or 20p, and an outsider.

Was down Seaton not so long ago, and all of the arcades seem to have gotten rid of it... Even shitty Las Vegas at the end!

So why were you trying to win a packet of tabs out of the slotties??

I dunno about Players 1-8, or indeed 7-9, I suppose they fed them to a load of beagles and they died straight away instead of suffering excruciating prolonged deaths so they moved right along to No 6.

anyone remember SONIC BLAST MAN? the one where you had to punch it as hard as you could? That was cool, though I think it was removed on health & safety grounds. I remember some kid climbing on it and booting it dead hard. It was cool.

[quote="Mampi Swift"]What was the highlight of your trip to Seaton then?

Taking the kids on a Sunday morning to clear my head from the Saturday night. The No. 12 to Newburn bridge, walk along the sands to the Park and then half an hour in the arcades. Pork crackling from the butchers, then the bus back home ready for a dinnertime session..................12 till 2!!!!! some session
Last orders ten to two was like the world was going to end. At least 4/5 pints racked up to drink before throwing out at 2.20 stupid

There you go Kev!

Personally, I loved the mechanical dalek in Ernie Nichols. Anyone remember it? You operated the controls from the inside, you know, the death ray and the sink plunger, you could also change it’s direction while it span, it was all top notch stuff.

It did stink of piss though!
