we stopped the rot with well desrved point. But how we managed to go in at half time behind I dont know as Budtz somehow managed to get 2 hands to a shot of no power and throw the bball into the side netting. A sublime finish from Porter early in the 2nd half drew us level as he left a defender on his backside after nut megging him. craddock maade an appearence and almost scored with his first touch but shot to close to the keeper, and had a decent header wide.

Graeme Lee was outstanding on his return, lookedas if never been away and had a header from a coner cleared off the line. Pools man of the match

Dont expect any quotes from the players in the papers as they refused to spesk to the press, stating that they felt the criuticism over the last few weeks was TOO HARSH. sctatchinghead

Too harsh, most of them shouldn't play like a pack of bounders then should they, they want to acknowledge who pays their wages

I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson has stirred this opinion amongst the players in order to deliberately foster a siege mentality hoping that it will wind them up. It may improve results but it will also alienate the decent fans who support the club through thick and thin - dangerous ploy refred

major clearout required in the summer. Too much sentimentality around the likes of Nelson, Humphreys etc. They would be the first ones I'd scatter.

Maybe some players have been here too long but why suddenly just turn into bad players? Man management, players generally going stale not good enough.

I find it all a bit strange my self its plain to see the players who have gone werent good enough, but we still have 2 keepers who dont fill me with confidence, and a few younguns in or around the squad that dont look like they will get any better. No matter what happens this season i agree if the players dont wanna play for pools anymore or play for this manager then they should be scattered.
