They are saying I haven't made a payment on my credit card. I have actually made two via my online banking account and have my recent transactions in front me with the two payments to the Natwest in black and white and the money has been taken from my account.

They have put my through to a department called 'lost payments'...... fooking lost payments!? Did someone put it on the sideboard or something and forget about it!?

72 minutes 27 now banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead

I need a pint after this.

If it is their fault try telling them you will be charging them for your time.

They really do lose the payments in that they don't reconcile lists of payments against the list of debts for some reason.

Whenever I transfer money over the internet I always make it an unusual amount eg instead of £50 pay £50.07 instead. Someone physically has to eyeball a list of payments to match the transaction, and there'll be loads of £50 ones. The person doing the checking usually gives up after a while, which is why the bank then tells you you're in the red.
