Don't hold your breath. One of the most annoying things about the Club is the totally meaningless secrecy. Been going opn for so long that people have stopped commenting on it. Which of course is part of the plot

Isn't there just a chance we're slowly bringing him back rather than rushing him ala Joel in 2006?

I'm sure that if we'd been comfortable against Vale (as we should have been) we would have seen him for the last 10 minutes (as against Luton) in order to slowly bring him back, however with the way things went last night the worst thing that could have happened was to bring in Monky with 30 to go and then have him break down and be out for the season.

Of course don't let this possibility get in the way of made up rumors of Wilson hating Monkhouse and refusing to play him. After all Monkhouse is off to Leeds in January isn't he :roll:

Apparently they have spoke few words to each other since Monkhouse' tantrum @ Rochdale, Maybe wilson is one for holding grudges ??

The same thing as he was doing against Luton, and the same thing a number of other players at our own and other clubs do when returning from a long spell injured, he was there in case we were comfortable to then bring on and help slowly regain his match fitness.

I want to see Monkhouse back as soon as possible, but not at the expense of him getting a recurrence of his injury.

They still play their games at Billingham. Tonight's rearranged match at the Vic is a one-off

Well, I guess we'll never know. But it's not unheard of for managers to fail to select players they've 'fallen out' with, is it?
