have turned out to be lamb and mint sausages  How am I going to do the tea now? None of the things I got to go with spicy lamb sausages will go with mint sausages at all.

I was thinking at least I'd have a nice tea before I went to the match

Over to you Mr. Parmo - you're the boards resident chef, neatly crafting wonderous combinations of food that other folk wouldn't have thought of.

I don't like mint with lamb.

However minted new potatoes, some brocolli and a nice splash of gravy would probably give you a nice meal.

Well sausage, chips and beans will have to do you then.

Or why not do sausage with peas, either mushy ones or normal depending what you have in, spice mushy peas up with loads of garlic and chilli powder to cover the taste of the mint.

Why didn't I think of that. If I make a very spicy sauce to cover the taste of the mint I can then use all the other ingredients I intended in the first place.

I've not been myself lately what with all the worrying about Dibble's optimism
