aye there was JAS and it was opposite ZIGI's in york road and then there was starwood in park road near churchills.

First one I remeber going in was Starwood, Musgrave Street....John Dawson was the 'Manager'!!!! :grin:

Everytime we went in he was watching 'Enter The Dragon'!!!!

One time 'Spud' from Martyrs came in and they done a demonstration....video boxes allover the shop!!!! :laugh: :laugh:

They had a portable on the counter and I thought the videos went in the side....it was only about 8 years ago that I realised it was an handle to pick the telly up!!!! :uhoh: :laugh:

I'm sure there was a 'Star' video shop on the Fens, although that must have shut down when I was about 10, maybe even before. Now all we've got left is the ubiquitous 'Blockbuster'...

spud use to my best mate at school... and i trained with John for a while..
