Cant beat bit optimism. Transfer window opens tomorrow so can get someone in.

If dont get anyone in time, Just move Sweeney to right side midfield , bring Mccunnie into right back, for Saturday. Problems solved.

No point making him stay if he's not happy, he's not going to give 100% if we are forcing him to stay and play.

I NEVER want players at Pools who don't want to play for the club. Look at the attitude of Sam Collins, cracking and refreshing.

Frankly, I dont care. We let him go. He was a regular in the starting 11. We didnt replace him.

Now arguably our best player is out for a good part of the most vital part of the season.

And the other posts above about moving players around are just fookin stupid.

Of course some other fooker will play there.........we wont turn up with ten men. stpid

And like I said what if Monhouse breaks dow, or Porter gets injured, or Thompson leaves.

But it wasn't a joke to let him go, it was foolhardy not to replace him, but replace him with what, which players of similar skill and wage where available?

I know this without fear of contradiction, if the board and DW HAD allowed him to stay with his pet lip because we hadn't allowed him to go to his fathers club, you would have banged you gums about this with equal venom

Easy tiger, if Wayne Rooney gets injured do Manure have an equal standard of player to replace him? NO!

There's not a team in the land that has players as good as their first team just kicking about in the stiffs waiting for a player to get injured. I thought you'd be happy with Moore out of the way, at least Porter is now getting a run in the team.

), Thompson is going back anyway.
He is only on a month's loan, which must be about up and the way Leeds season
is going, it would be no surprise if they wanted him back. He's had match practice,
which is what he was sent here for.

With any luck this'll make us find a surprise answer to the right wing spot, one which was staring us in the face all along. Then when Brown comes back he can play proper fookin striker like he's supposed to, then him and Joel will get 34 goals each while our proper fookin wingers feed them with the chances.
