Featuring Tommy Smith and Dave Watson sctatchinghead

Surely for an event like this you'd get together some Pools legends of yesteryear, not journeyman after dinner speakers.

Agreed. It sounds crap and they'd have to do better than that to con me out of 40 notes. Everything this year is going to be 'centenary this, centenary that' as a way of getting extra coin out of the supporter.

'There are an additional twenty executive tickets available at a cost of £50 per head '.

Now I am no marketing expert but you think they could have at least explained what you'd be getting for your extra 10 squid.

By the way, these two won't be attending out of the goodness of their hearts either, I reckon they'll be costing a minimum 1-2k each.

I thought Tommy Smith was dead violin

...I'd happily stump up £40 to hear crap old jokes from the decomposing corpse of an Anfield legend but if he's alive I can't see any appeal.
