This just seems to be getting more and more ridiculous, surely under the current rules Andy Johnsons goal for Everton should have stood yesterday.

Agree should have counted, but as I was at work today,I have a mate who was over the moon.

Did a treble of draws........

Everton v Blackburn...(goal disallowed meant got that 1)

Spurs v Man U.....Another late equaliser

Newcastle v Borer(today) and another late goal, he even bit of a borer fan and was jumping up and down when that 2nd of there's was disallowed....

Return of £98 for a £3 bet.

What pi55es me off equally as much though is how keepers are awarded a free kick for falling over or making a mistake.
Owen's first effort that was disallowed today... how the F**K was that a foul on the keeper?! I'd love them to interview the refs after the game. I was frustrated watching it as a neutral (I hate them both equally) so god knows how the Newcastle team and fans feel.

To me your either onside of offside. It seems this season though you can be standing on the penalty spot in an offside position and be deemed not to be interfering with play whilst one of your teamates score. If your in the 18 yard box and offside then your interfering with play regardless of whether your running back or got your hands above your head etc.

it's a variation of rugby union offside rules, where if a player makes it known he's not intending to get involved then play can carry on. If he doesn't raise his hands then offside is automatically called by the ref.
However this is football, not rugby - and the simplicity of football is being compromised by certain rule changes like this.

Talking of rule changes - it all started going wrong for Leeds when the pass back to the keeper rule was outlawed.

There is only one referee in the world that I would set on fire and then refuse to piss on in the middle of nowhere and I think you all know who it is.

The rest simply do not matter. stpid stpid
