 Post subject: Wireless Network Adaptor Help!!!!

I've connected the Router to my Computer but I can't get the Adaptor to work on the bairn's Computer!!!! banghead banghead

It says it's compatible with....98se, Me, 2000 & XP!!!!
It doesn't mention anything about Vista!!!! confised

Do I have to buy an Adaptor that's compatible with Vista???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

no it should work they are compatible with all operating systems! what make is it? i have problems with mine and i downloaded the software off the internet and installed it from the CD i got with the dongle and it worked, as i was getting the same message. is it a DYNAMODE dongle?

Vista has had a lot of problems with wireless conenctions. The latest update seems to have sorted that out though.

For the first 6 months my connection was dropping spuriously whenever I used Vista, my PC with XP worked fine.

Make sure you have the latest update/patches etc from Microsoft.

it's all to do with protocol 6 on vista

latest patches still ain't 100% but there is a workaround
