I want him out. I don't make my decisions on the way the winds blowing unlike some posters. I still don't rate him and and have no problem standing by my initial point of view.

Of course not, but lets be realisitic how many other clubs do you see sack a manager in no less then say 5 games after a 4-0 win?

I know its been mentioned in the past about how much of a poor reputation we have when it comes to sacking managers, but this would be the final straw in attracting anyone decent at all.

jools i was not a fan when he came he changed everyone's mind last season but as some say i could have got us promoted last season
i m o he has not done enough this season on signings and some of our football has been abysmal
it proves the point today that if they have a system to play to that is working they can play but you have to admit a lot of the time this season they have been like strangers and he was unable to change it
i put this down to the manager today we played football albeit against a vastly inferior side but we tend to go back to hoof ball when it is not working out if that is all he has to offer then i say it is not enough and he has been found out as he was at other clubs
i am not unhappy with a four nil win just keeping it in perspective
we played well today as a team against the bottom club

if we beat southend, vale and cheltenham or even if we draw and play good football like we did today fair enough on wilson hes changed it around, but i said this after the crewe game also.

without some kind of run were gunna be down mixing with the bottom four for the rest of the season.

so i hope wilson does change things around get us mid table and id take back my opinion of wanting him sacked, but honestly i cant see that happening.

Without Lutons ten point deduction we've technically got three worse side than Luton to play just at home including the doomed Port Vale next.

I'll change my mind about Wilson when we go on a decent run, remember we won the odd match under Scotty as well.
Also dont forget who we were playing today either before you all start thinking everything is all rosy again.

Yes we did. But we didn't hammer teams. We didn't score for fun. In fact we didn't score at all!
As long as your team is scoring you can realistically hope for something better than a struggle.

I know where you're coming from Monty but although we are scoring at home we ARE NOT scoring away, at least not enough to prevent us getting beat, we have to stop losing every away game as well, I can't and wont argue that the last 2 home games have been tremendous RESULTS, but being realistic, we didn't play well against Southend and Luton were VERY poor, we might have scored 4 in both games but our defending against Southend was shocking and against Luton it simply WASN'T required.
If we can go to Southend next week and come away with at least a point THEN beat Port Vale, a draw at least at Cheltenham then by the time the Friday night game comes against Northampton we could be sitting much more comfortably and I AND many others might just start to be convinced that we have nothing to worry about with Wilson in charge.
A reasonably settled team of our BEST players would be nice too.

the way I read it, is there's still a lot of people waiting for the next match, and see if we get more of the usual from Pools (i.e. lose easily at Southend away). So I believe most people still aren't going to let this result cloud their judgement as to what has been a dreadfully poor season defence-wise. If the goals dry up at the right end, we certainly haven't looked like keeping them out at our end when we come up against good teams.
If we concede another two goals at Southend, nothing has changed as far as I'm concerned.
If we get beat, I want to see the opposition working hard for their three points, and not watching Pools roll over and die again. Don't forget, it's one point from 27 away from home - and if we dismiss that as a "blip" then my definition of a blip certainly doesn't coincide with DW's definition!!!!

That's called inconsistency. It's what 75% of teams in every division in the country suffer from. From the other 25% you have the promoted and relegated sides.

I can't find one single thread or reply to a thread giving glassback any criticism whatsoever, his link up play was great, his pace and vision as good as ever, and as I have pointed out already, his goal was something to behold

what folks would like to see above all else is, the removal of that nagging doubt that we'll be the ones who slide into fourth bottom spot on the last day of the season, despite having 52/53 points. I want us to hit 55 points asap so we can forget all about facing Barnet next season. Until the away form finally shapes up and we stop conceding two goals every single away match, then I and plenty others will remain concerned.
At this moment it looks like Crewe are unable to sort themselves out, ditto Port Vale and Luton - but a few others look capable of digging themselves out of it, most worryingly Bournemouth. I hope they go into admin and lose 10 points, 'cos that would be lights out for them and we could breathe a huge sigh of relief. The only "slight" worry after that scenario would be Crewe suddenly picking up loads of points - but they seem to be on a suicide mission so I'm hopeful that won't happen.
We can't just rely on a home form and others being shite to keep us away from the bottom four. I would like to see a marked improvement in away performances.

By all accounts Milwall are pretty dire too but as you say we can't rely on the others. Three of four wins out of the next eight will take us up to the 50-ish mark. That leaves us 9 games in which to get the last 6 or 7 points.

I eventually lost my faith that we could do that sort of form under Scotty. I thought we could at the start under Stepho but the shininess soon wore off.
BTW if we lose our next game we'll be exactly where we were after Scotty's last game!
