BUT

People on here have bleated on about the youth team players not being given a chance.

Now they might be.

And they could turn out to be superstars.

I would certainly like to see Rae and MacKay being given a run in the team. More besides if it shakes the current team out of their slumber.

I'm sorry but this whole thread is bollocks!

Got rid of high earners!? Ali Gibb and Lee Bullock who couldn't even command a place in league two never mind this league and Ian Moore who wanted to leave. Are people going to pretend they thought Gibb and Bullock were any good all of a sudden?

We've signed an experienced centre back for a reported £75,000 as well more importantly all our best players have remained at the club or have I missed something and did Liddle sign for Norwich, Brown for one of about ten clubs Monkhouse for Leeds ect ect!?

I know our results have been frustrating of late but it shouldn't give people an excuse to spout any old shite.

When results are described as 'frustrating', you also get get some shite spouted defending those who have given us a frustrating series of results.

and if porter get injured again................and Barker gets banned.

Would you still be saying this thread is shite?

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Moore was half of our best strike partnership this season. He was also one of the few performing well until he disappeared.

We have allowed him to go for nowt and replaced him with nowt.

We have brought in yet another defender. Whoopy fookin do.

After tomorrows crowd goes below 3k, come on here and tell me this is still shite.

And if we dont win tomorrow we are deep in the thick stuff.

Thats how close we are to disaster.

But you carry on walking round with your eyes shut.

Look I'm sure that I'm as gutted as you that we didn't have more productive January in the transfer marker. I would have loved us to have got another keeper and a forward in at least but it didn't happen. Why this thread is shite is because you are suggesting that the club are cutting back in preparation for the drop. Collins transfer fee alone probably is more than Ali Gibbs salary.... Thompson will be on more than Sandra Bullock as well come to think of it.

I am pissed off but there's absolutely no need to go over the top, you need to keep some sort of sense of perspective.

This argument is complete bollocks. I could explain why but I can't be arsed. Serves you all right for being so fookin tedious about signing new players.

Ian Moore lives in Warrington, with his family. He didn't like the travelling. He tried it and he didn't like it. We therefore generously agreed to let him find a club in that area as he had become unhappy here. He did so, we got a fee. Everyone sorted.

Except Dibble.

while you are there mad john: whats your take on the ian moore fiasco ?

Sorry mate, just missed me. I don't think fiasco is too wide of the mark. I sympathised with Moore's position but we have been left an attacking player short this week. Once we had failed to land Elding I would have changed my stance on Moore, telling him "look we sympathise, but we can't let you go yet". Of course, we can only speculate on what conversations took place between Moore and the club. I doubt it was as simple as "I'd rather not travel / Oh OK then"

well if Rae or MacKay don't get any opportunities now, they never will.
