Dunno about Beckham but the squad should be picked on which players are on form at the moment. Beckham can't possibly be one of these players as he hasn't even played since November, but he seems to just expect to be picked. There are young players playing every week to try and get a chance (Bentley, Young, etc.) whilst Beckham is playing keepie-ups on the beach in Brazil..... i know who I'd rather see play.

After his refusal to play for the under 21's, i'd personally tell Bentley to get fooked!!

I agree with Capello whatever he decides. His job is to build a team for the next World Cup and that must begin now.
There are no minor objectives on the way to distract from that. He certainly doesn't have to worry about selecting a team of seasoned players with the Euro in mind!

Capello hardly played him at Madrid so being dropped now doesn't surprise me.
