Perhaps we should organise something together - a bit like the great train robbers or that Brinks Matt (whatever it was called) thing.
Obviously you're ex-army so you'd have to be on the operational side of things, swinging in on a rope and kicking the windows in or something, getting through a skylight.
I'd put myself forward to help you as I'm one of those calm people who hardly ever gets flustered.
Now lets see:
we might need more on the operational side
someone to drive the getaway car
someone to twoc another one to change into
someone with a warehouse
soneone with a hideaway cottage in the country
someone with the brains (uh oh)
soneone with inside knowledge of the target

Somewhere to actually go and complete the operation.
The White Elephant Stadium wouldnt be worth it, I'd suggest something connected to Barclays because I've always hated them.
Any takers/suggestions?
(I'm sure this message board is confidential isnt it?)

Well Barclays indeed seems a good choice besides, they seem determined to get me in there. They email me at least half a dozen times a day insisting that I log into my account. It's a bit strange as I don't have one with them but hey-ho you can't fault their hospitality.

So Barclays it is then.

A driver: Clearly being women, PoolieChrissie and Louise are out. ADG's car is too small and PP being an old get will drive annoyingly at 15 MPH. Salty is always breaking down so who else? Who's got a fast getaway motor?

We stayed in a secluded cottage in North Wales for Cardiff as well. The owner said Tom Jones grew up in the nearby village, showed us an old knife wound and said it was Tom that'd done it; supposedly he was a bit of a nutter when younger.
Good place for a hideout, North Wales. No'one would suspect we'd go there.

Irrelevant's Eleven - so we need a proposterous scam with all kinds of charades and sideshow distractions. Right, for my role I'll eat the incriminating evidence

PC is definitely out as your getaway driver, never learnt to drive, even the female version of it, seeing as how I've chauffered her everywhere since she was 19.

This has all the makings of the Ealing Comedy from 1955 - The Ladykillers starring Alec Guiness, Peter Sellers and Herbert Lom.

Is that the film where they are in a Boarding House and pretend to be Classical Musicians????

If it is I've only ever seen clips of it....I'd love to see the full film!!!! :sweet:

It did smell a bit despite having the usually uber-reliable Coen Brothers at the helm. Not shite, just not especially good either.

Mutley, you're thinking of the right film. The original was wonderful.

Ealing showed how good British fillums can be made, and they have stood the test of time

I havent been to the cinema for years and havent bought a fillum that has been released on DVD for years, because 99.9% of releases are dog shite
