Lord Smythe & Archie On The Run.... For Charridy!

Most of you will be aware that in December a stray greyhound turned up on the doorstep of Smythe Mansions and after going through the correct channels with the help of "Stray Action For Dogs" at Deerness Kennels, Langley Moor, I re-homed the pooch and named him Archie. He has since become an affectionate addition to the family and also a very fit running partner!

On Saturday 9th February both Archie and I intend to take part in The Durham 5km Charity Run at Maiden Castle,Durham. We've had clearance from Athletics Association, Greyhound Association and more importantly Run Organisers have given permission for Archie to accompany me on proviso of use of short lead and muzzle (not sure whether it's me or the dog that has to wear the muzzle)

We intend to raise money for Stray Action For Dogs and it would be appreciated if you could generously donate to this worthwhile cause to enable Deerness Kennels to continue their good work.

A sponsor form will be doing the rounds at The Vic before during and after the match at The Vic, so you can either avoid me or approach me with a donation
