It appears the cost of football at pools has turned his head.

I'm not saying i agree with it or disagree with it but you can watch Sunderland, which is premiership football, for £2 more than pools.

I wonder how many other people in town are going to be doing this.

We are in a catch 22 situation at the moment..

We need more people through the gate to be able to afford better players.

Yet we need to get the performances right to get the people back in, which we can't do until we get better players.

I can't understand why anyone would go to Sunderland to watch negative football when they can watch the same thing at home.

Most people probably go for the opposition.

You can watch Man Utd rip them to shreads, with Ronaldo, Rooney etc for about a tenner more than pools.

Sunderland also do fan days, kids for a quid etc etc loads of offers to fill those spare seats.

And pools do...

A long ball to Barker for the thick end of 20 quid a pop with Sunday League defending from Nelson and Antwi at the other end.

There is no entertainment and no value for money at the moment, so only your die hard regulars will drag themselves along. Your casual supporters will give it a miss and find something else to do with their time and money, such as going to watch one of the local Premier League teams.

He isn't a Pools fan in my book. Supporting a football should mainly be dictated by one thing; geography. You support your home town club if you don't in my book you are 'lovely lovely person', in football fans terms I wouldn't want to extend that to all walks of life but it's probably the case anyway

Cost shouldn't really come into it, it's in your blood. If you can't afford it that's fair enough but you don't become a sheep.

No matter how much Pools cost even to if it was an extent were I could no longer afford to go wild horses wouldn't drag me to watch another team on a regular basis. We have been far worse than we are now.

He has franchised himself as a football fan, no better than a MK Dong

Don't understand how anyone could do this like..... very sad. stpid

I live 5 miutes walk away from Fratton Park, they're doing great but I couldn't just suddenly become a Pompey fan.... you just can't. Just can't imagine ever celebrating a goal properly (if you know what I mean) for anyone but Pools. Possibly England (if all the players weren't w@nkers) but that's different.

Is it just me??
