In the history of the Bunker there has been more shite posted in the last couple of days than at any other time. What the friggin hell is a cartwheel signing? Polls a plenty and not one of them of any use. Honestly, you lot talk some shite. Talk about running round with your arse in your hands!

Surely a cartwheel signing is one that makes you so delirious with joy that it makes you perform...erm...a cartwheel.

But I agree that there is an unhealthy obsession with football. I suggest we form a book club. To take our minds off things

Yeah good idea i'm sick of talking about football, i like the idea of a book club.... The last book i read was called "My Father and other working class football heroes"
It was all about er..........football like.

I don't seem to have much time to read these days, though over Christmas I did finally get to read Malcolm Errington's book on Pools and the Busby Babes.

What I am doing a lot at the moment is listening to Audiobooks, usually in the car on the way to and from work. There's a site called Librivox.org where there's a lot of older stuff available, legally, for nothing - all books that are old enough that they're now in the Public Domain, and volunteers have recorded them. The quality can be a bit variable, but there's a guy called Mark Nelson that's done a great job with some PG Wodehouse stuff, and at the moment I'm listening to Moby Dick - one guy has recorded the whole book and so far it's not bad at all.

I suggest a poll to see if the bunker's members share Mr I's view.
