The votes from the Ripper jury;

ALB- 8- kept us in it with some good saves and looks like a proper goalkeeper
McCunnie- 7- steady away
Humphreys- 6- reliable enough but not as good as his last few games in midfield
Nelson- 6- not as good as we expect from him
Antwi- 3- comical, how did he get on Liverpool's books?!
Brown- 8- back to what he does best
Robson- 7- a lot better and doesn't deserve some of the unwarranted criticism
Liddle- 9- brilliant, especially his tackling and the ground he covered
Thompson- 7- steady enough start
Porter- 8- should play every week, vision and ability second to none in our squad
Barker- 6- tries hard, not his fault that this level is a bit much for him
Sweeney- 7- did a canny job when he came on

I think I'm being very generous to Mr Antwi.

He doesn't know the basics of defending and his positional sense is non-existent.

His heading is a little unorthodox as well - he seems to head the ball up every time instead of forward sctatchinghead

I agree with a previous poster - we definitely need another centre-half, even if Ben Clark is fit. None of them are playing well.

Liddle 7. Better but still short of were we expected.

Are you insane? He was the best player on the park last night, possibly alongside Porter but deserved a 9 at least!!!

I think I do as well, Liddle seemed to be back to his most productive self last night, put in some crunching tackles as well. I think he was enjoying having a different old wise head alongside him, perhaps one that was encouraging and advising him as the game went on.

it was noticeable how Liddle's game was stepped up two or three notches when we were 3-1 up, we need that from him when it's 0-0 or if we are a goal down. He is a super footballer, and I want to see him shine in this League, he can do it so he shouldn't be afraid to show it.
And play well.

Liddle put in his best 90 minutes of the season on Tuesday but I still wish he'd be more positive and creative like last season.
