It's only a bad sign if the manager refuses to listen.
Playing football must be a weird occupation, I think, in that you've to have considerable talent and expertise to be in a team to start with...but then you have to abandon all idea of tactical decision- making and play according to the whim of one man
In other occupations a good manager is one who delegates well
