The rules of nornality don't apply in football... as evidenced by the illogical denunciation of anyone who dares not to accept the dross served up this season.

there are some real deluded Pools supporters out there!

I could have used the word 'thick' instead of deluded but I wanted to be a bit more polite.

Yeah but a good attendance at games does not mean you necessarily have a clue. Danny Wilson has been to all the games and he is clueless when it comes to our team.

Hey up Mr Chip, I'm on no wind up and I'm no loid thank you very much, and I'm also no yes man who will follow the pack at the first sign of trouble.
What we learned back in the day was to support our team through thick and thin, even back then in the day you got the odd few who would never be happy no matter what, it's just unfortunate we seem to have more of them now.
Fair enough you might want DW, Barker, Antwi, Elliott, Boland, and no doubt a few others I might have missed out, and one things for certain they will all eventually go, but they will be replaced by others that will all make mistakes at some point, then what, let's start hounding them out.
I wish I could be arsed to read your posts after the Luton, Orient, Leeds, Port Vale and Oldham games when all the above played a major part in those performances that were reckoned by most to be the best football we had ever played.
Your posts are just so one sided and cock eyed it's not true, if you want to slag players off for making mistakes then fair enough, just be consistant, i.e. Nelson going to ground too easily for the fist goal, no mention, Robson losing possesion too easily for the 2nd goal, no mention, Brown missing an absolute sitter 5 yard tap in to equalise, no mention, Barker missing a header from 8 yards, priceless just what we wanted.
There's been a few decent posts from the pessemists lately, (yours excluded obviously) regarding team spirit or lack of it and I do think that's a problem, cos I do think some of the new signings have just come for a decent salary and will jump ship anyway at the first opportunity for a couple of extra bob.
But I also think there is a fear factor amongst the players, no-one is prepared to take a chance or even want the ball anymore, so like I've said in the past we need more of clappp clappp and less of rage rage rage
And yes I know you give total support whilst you're there yawn2 but you also make sure you make up for it when you're not

You might as well be a Loid, if you are happy to get pleasure out of dross
Any idea, where the lack of team spirit might be coming from,
or who signed those 'mercenaries' who are talking the money and getting ready to run

Any Idea who signed them? that's a silly question Mr Leicesterpoolie it was Mr Wilson of course, that's why I keep saying don't slag the players off, they are not going to refuse to play if selected are they, and it's up to DW to sort them out cos they're his players and if he can't I don't think anyone else can.
Can't ever remember ever saying I'm enjoying what we're watching at the moment stpid stpid

And if you're not careful, by letting people know you weren't there on Tuesday night some of your collegues on this board might start telling you your not entitled to an opinion and that your not able to call yourself a supporter, a fate that was thrust upon poor Mr Jockthemonkey and Poolieoffshore last night, unless of course you agree with everything they say.

I agree with a lot they say and if I was able to go to every game,
I think I would be having second thoughts about doing so, at the moment.

I seem to remember you were defending DW, after the Northampton game (which I did see).
Apologies if I am wrong.

btw it was Friday , not Tuesday
a bit of editing might be useful, so that I look silly, not you

Just a fraudulent slip Mr Leicesterpoolie, you know how time flies when your having fun.
Don't think I was defending DW, but I won't have been slagging him off either, it's his team and our club, he didn't do too bad last season, and I honestly thought we would be in top 6 all season minimum, and I think and hope he will sort it out, but if we don't win on Tuesday I think it'll be curtains for him and then I think we will be in trouble.
I'm just not happy with the constant one eyed victimisation of certain players that are putting a lot more effort in than others. And if they bothered to watch in a bit more of a neutral objective manner they would see there are players performing far worse and making a lot more basic schoolboy errors.
And also the harping on about picking players that haven't been fit FFS just for the sake of a whinge.
Now I'm finding myself rambling on like Mr Chip, glad I'm going out soon thrilled

Never mind we could always bounce back with the next sacrificial lamb who can be sacked after getting us promoted on the back of a club record run after a bit of a sticky patch at the start of season..

Finally

'There was no defeat on Friday night; Hartlepool United played their best football since a Friday night defeat of Sheff Wed with a wonder goal from Mr Adam Boyd'

mr Chip that's out of order.
all these posts about whether or not you attend home matches, fook me I've been to maybe 4 home matches this season but I didn't have much company at swansea or yeovil or gillingham etc.
my dad doesn't get to many games this season cos he's wheelchair bound, and he's only been to almost every home game since he was 14 until last year when he had a stroke, bloody part timer obviously now he can't have an opinion cos he doesn't go to every game

I think you meant 'freudian' slip, your not Tom's English teacher are you sctatchinghead
