If the signing saw Robbie Elliot going the other way I'd be more than happy.

I'd say stick him at full back and put McCunnie in midfield. As I said earlier in the month, I wouldn't be against the signing. It wouldn't be an exciting signing but he's a time-served lower division right back, which is a better option than another loan youngster or a midfielder trying to learn the role.

I concur.

I'd happily start a whip round to pay him off.

Does every signing have to be a cartwheel signing like?

Gerraway.

How many people had even heard of Liddle when we signed him?

Marco Gabbiadini was the type of player that got you excited when he signed.

why do we need cartwheel signings anyway? The most effective players we've had over the last few years have been players that we haven't got very excited about when they first joined yet gone onto excel.

ie, Joel, Dimi, Westie etc

Stop being sensible, what we need is a fooking cartwheel signing, it's obvious, one cartwheeler and we'll be rocketing up the league. Lets pay him double what everybody else is on, who cares, we need a big signing!

Gordon Watson was without doubt the most devisive influence that ever entered a Hartlepool United dressing room.
