Nolan*...............Nelson.........Clark.............Robson**

Moore..............Boland.............Liddle..........Humphreys

......................Brown***.............Porter.....................

Subs
Allison (GK)
Foley****
Antwi
Barker
Turnbull

* If McCunnie is fit then he should play instead of Nolan

** if Monkhouse is fit then he should replace Robson and Ritchie should drop back to LB

*** Brown and Moore to interchange between posistions to find space effectively and stretch the opposistion defence.

**** Or Michael Mackay if he is fit.

I'd swap Robson and Humphreys out of that lot and put Sweeney in instead of Boland.

Otherwise, it's not a bad side.

Hopefully McCunnie is fit for tomorrow. If so, then he can replace Nolan. Longer term I see McCunnie as a midfielder, but for now (and probably for the rest of this season) we need a full back. If he's not fit then there aren't many options. Liddle? Antwi? Back three? I would keep Humphreys on the wing for now as he has been one of our better players in the last month, though when Monkhouse is fit then he starts on the wing with Humps dropping back. Either way, Robson starts ahead of Elliott.

Bobby Robson would start ahead of Robbie Elliott if I had my way

I agree - Brown & Porter up front, NO Barker. Humphreys not a full back - doesn't close down opponents and fails to prevent crosses into the area. This has cost goals against. Drop Nelson and move Liddle into back four. Foley on from the start, too. Larry60.

Leisure Suit Larry was one of the very early IMB-PC games - circa 1985/86

Someone told me that Antwi can play in goal at a reasonable level, so that is why Danny never picks a keeper. he's out version of phil Jagielka....

We conceding too many daft goals so fill the back with centre halfs put some pace up front and some forward thinking in Midfield with options down the wing. Wilson will play nothing like this but it might be what we need.

Wilson team IMO, he will wield the axe sctatchinghead i reckon Robson in for elliot and Humps Left back and a different right back (mccunnie if fit, if not liddle in and sweens in midfield) other than that i dont think he will change anything and if he doesnt i cant wait to see the reaction on here tomorrow night

As bad as Nelson has been recently, I'd have him there over Antwi any day of the week.

Except I'd bin Boland, I've never been a fan, I always said he was crap ((c)Chip) and of course Ben Clark can move forward and make it a standard 4-4-2.

Nice call.
