Post subject: IOR really need to pull their finger out
PostPosted: Sat Jan 19, 2008 5:19 pm
If the Mags win today and again next week, and we keep loosing, the fickle fookers in this town will don their wank black and white tops and leave us in numbers

Can they really afford to loose 500-1000 of the gates as well as the many die hards like me who giving serious thought to knocking it on the head?

I didnt say they did I, oh wise one

You havent witnessed the shite, and it is shite Kev for the past five months

I will still be going regardless if IOR are there or not, but we will get relegated again, and for some one as 'savvy' as Uncle Ken and IOR to sleepwalk into this again is fooking crap

Or do you, from the boss seat in China, believe we will stay up and not loose 1000 fans????

No mate, you are the sage, pulling the 'you don't go' card, same as the other wise one. so I'll only say this:

How can you have the arrogance to say that IOR need to pull their finger out?

Miss two words out of that, those being 'finger' and 'their' and we are truly back to square one.

But then again I don't go so what do I know??

Youse all keep sniping and we might find out the result. Feel free to keep advising though. After all, you're all experts.

Sniping, you are the one with all the answers

IOR have been this clubs saviour and taken us to a level no-one could of imagined

However this doesn't mean they are always right and make no mistakes, does it

the main point of this thread wasn't to bash IOR's work at the club, but to highlight the fact we will loose more fans then normal when (not if) we get relegated and it will be compounded by the other 500 or so who decided to stay home or in the pub and watch 'King Kev' and his friends up in cold north

I think they already pull there finger by taking a £1,000,000 loss every year and continued improvements off the field facilities. I only found out last night about the two electronic scoreboards that are going up next season and all the new corporate facilities that are in use now they have brought this club on leaps and bounds. Newcastle get 52,000 every week with or without Keegan it isn't going to effect our gates.

If you are considering not going then that's fair enough but I wouldn't describe you as a 'die hard' if that's the case as we've been in far worse places as a club than this. Last night was shambolic and we've been average at home all season but we still need to keep some sense of perspective.

I think perhaps I may have worded it wrong, however, if IOR arent careful, we are going to loose a big chunk of support, and they seem to be unfazed by Wilson, and the players inept performances for the past four months

Electronic scoreboards or not, do you really want to be relegated again, or stay in this division with a decent crowd turning up every week?

True but I think it takes more than a few poor performances to lose 1,000 supporters, as I said a bit of perspective is needed. I don't think IOR need to 'pull their finger out' I'm sure they have the same concerns as you and me. I heard on good authority that Wilson has been under pressure for a while and the board are hardly going to be impressed with last night are they? They won't want a repeat of two years ago.

Again I'll say the pull the finger out remark was directed at the fact they continue to let Wilson carry on, not a lot of managers would be given a run this long with as many defeats we have suffered, I hope Wilson turns it around, I really do, but I can't see it.

That's the first time we've lost at home since October, I don't think many managers would have been sacked at out level for being mid table a season after coming up the season before. We are 17th now so it could be time to take action before it gets worse. But I agree with what people have been saying they either need to back him or sack him.
