Apparently he's in Sunderland's bad books and definitely not a crowd pleaser at the moment.

Imagine one minute you had him back at Pools. Who would you replace with him?
Would he be an extra option to add to the two new signings or would we just be doubling up?

Didn't Tommy go to Sunderland on a bosman so unlikely to be much of a fee if he came to us?

Salary expectation could be difficult to match.
